I’m in the process of learning how to let go when I’m in situation where I’m giving of myself more than the other person is. For me, I just love. That’s my mode. That’s how I navigate the terrains of my relationships. But there’s a line between loving and honoring myself and loving and dishonoring myself. If you’re in a situation where you’re giving, loving, sharing and you’re not being appreciated or receiving the degrees and measures to that you’re dispensing..you have to remove yourself from the situation. What seems so beautiful to love dauntlessly becomes painful when you hold on to a dishonorable circumstance.
if someone makes you feel like you are only worthy when they touch you,
run as fast as your feet can carry you
if her hands do as much hurting as they do holding,
know that you deserve better
if his words are hard more often than they are tender,
please do not stay
do not let anyone silence you
or dull your edges
you cannot be contained
or shrunk down or held back
breathe fire into the winter
and light up the night

You are made
out of comets
Do not surround
yourself with those
that treat you like
dirt and dust.
My heart swings back and forth between the need for routine and the urge to run.

So many things to ponder in bear life.
I don’t want perfect, I want honest.
